We will have to see how it works. I surely won't praise it to the skies without even having played it, like many seem to do.
Brings up a good reminder though:
Those of you playing highly modified versions of FO4 need to take the steps needed to lock down your game and prevent auto updates.
The Skyrim community is only just getting over its meltdown in the wake of the early December update, and while most mods that needed updating have been there’s still some major outliers.
Skyrim’s modding community is far more active and alive than FO4’s. Lots of mods for FO4 haven’t been touched in years and their creators have vanished or announced their departures.
You can bet they ain’t gonna come back to update their years old mods for any new update(s) that roll out here in the next year - there may be at least two: this supposed “next gen” update and the inevitable transition/implementation of the Creations platform (unless they roll them into one patch).
