If your game doesn't crash, try re-enabling your mods just ONE at a time and see where it goes unstable in order to find your culprit. You might need to update or remove any faulty mods. (Remember that any game saves that are dependent on mods you have disabled will not behave, so expect loss of functionality on previous saves.)
If your game crashes without any mods running, look at updating your sound and graphics drivers.
Remember that this game is OLD, and Windows has moved on a lot since the games launch.
On the contrary: this is probably the CAUSE.
Higher end hardware cannot be detected or used properly with this game's very old engine. So telling us what your 'high end' computer actually IS, will help a lot to figure out what the best course of action is.
Did the game run before this on that same computer? What point are you at, in the game specifically when it crashes?
Did your computer OS or any of its drivers, software stuff like Onedrive, or firewalls update?
But yeah the higher end computers are the most likely, not least likely, to have trouble running this game.
Well the other day you were arguing with your mother, while you were seething you accidentally downloaded a virus and now that virus is screwing around with your system, crashing your game regularly. I know cos I saw into your home, pc and its system with my mind.
Or you could give us more details on your pc and what you actually did around it so we can have a clue what went wrong instead of using telepathy.
The game seems to crash at random moments. It happened in the beginning inside the house and then while running to the shelter. I stopped playing after that.
My PC: RTX 3080, 32 GB RAM, i7 11700K and 2 SSD of 500 GB
Edit: I'm not using any mods.
Weapon Debris can crash on the way to the vault, but it shouldn't be doing it while still in the house. So the run to the vault might be weapon debris, but there is another issue causing the crash in the house.
With the RTX card, weapon debris will definitely be an issue. So turning that off is a good idea. But it sounds like that may not be the only problem.
Follow the instructions down to Bug Fixes, if you want continue through TMR extended. This is a good base mod list for helping with stability.
