Cleansing the Commonwealth Quest is bugged. HELP!

So the quest says to clear out "Big John's Salvage". Went to that area and killed all the mutants I found (it says the area is "CLEARED" on my map"). The quest won't update and still thinks I haven't cleared it out. What can I do? Reloading saves are not an option here.

Try using the cheat terminal found at Nexus (Link below) this has an option to fix quests within the game, that may help you.

while still in the area use consloe command kah (kill all hostils) and press enter. It's worth a try even if the map says cleared.
