Followers won't go home

Does anyone know how to get followers to go back to their origonal homes after you sent them to settlements?

But I've seen a mod somewhere that enables you to do that.

All you need to do is send them back just hit tab and they will go back to their original locations.

No there is a workbench but you can't send settlers or a companion to your home there.

This only works if you have never assigned them to a settlement.

OP this mod allows you to reset the default homes:

edit: also, it allows you to set Home Plate as a location for your companions.

Alright, thanks. This seems like a huge oversight by Bethesda. I feel like the modding is good for their games, but now it's starting to feel like they're depending on the modders to fix their issues. I really hope they fix this in a patch.

If it was obvious that by pressing TAB you could avoid assigning a new home, half the problem wouldn't exist. Still the mod workedd well for me and now I know better.

They started doing this from Oblivion on..

Bethesda is notorious for being "lazy". They do a fantastic job but drop the ball as soon as the game is out.. pre-purchases don't help in mending that
