Make sure your video and sound drivers are up to date.
Make sure you have windows dedicate your memory to only the game.
Make sure you clean your hard drive, get rid of temporary files, and anything your not using, and try running the windows hard drive defragment program.
Make sure your not running any background programs, only your Internet Security.
But even after you do all of that I'm afraid windows 10 May be your problem.
Windows 10 has been causing a lot of problems to a lot of different games.
Thank you. I suspected it may be Windows 10. I'll do what you said and post back here when I'm done.
Check your save folder, back up the folder first.
Then delete all the save except 2 or 3 the newest one.
Fantastic idea! I forgot about that. Probably a lot in there because I stopped using quick save. I wanted to have multiple saves in case one of them wouldn't load, so it's likely very cluttered.
WAT
2 days straight?! Are you serious? You mean the game kept on loading screen for 48 hours? If that is true, you may have serious issues with either your disk or your memory chips.
Load times are longer than average in Fallout 4, yeah, but 48 hours loading stuff is a crazy amount of time.
