What happens if I don't contact the brotherhood before killing Kellog

The title really says it all. In my current play through I don't intend to contact the brotherhood team in cambridge until after I kill Kellog. I'm interested in knowing what will happen since the brotherhood is scripted to appear after leaving fort hagen will I mess up my game or will the fire support mission still be active?

Hmm don't know if you can join them I know that you can get the missing patrol also from Kells however don't know what happens if you wait with joining after the prydwen arrives.

You're able to join them, you'll have to go through danse first.

its effectively the same either way. go find danse and do his mission to fetch a part with him. His 2nd mission to find the missing squad is instead given by the captain on the airship

Nothing extraordinary happens. The Prydwen will still appear in the sky "We are the BOS" and you will get a quest called Reveille.

Reveille has a quest marker at the airport. When you go there you will be directed to the police station. When you go to the police station without first going to the airport, Reveille will just complete and the quest to kill the ferals will start.

In one of my playthroughs I am about to do Mass Fusion. I have joined the RR because I needed them to analyze the chip. I have not been to Concord or to Cambridge at all.
