Missing leg options?

I just created my robot crafting station and I can only choose between protectron legs and mr handy thruster. Do I have to complete the quest or find schematics for more options?

I found more leg types from bots I destroyed during the dlc.

Yep, gotta kill more robots and scavenge mods, it should pop up added to the workshop list if you pick up a new one.

Kill them, you'll find more. If you don't want to do it the hard way though, just finish the DLC questline.

Don't waste your time collecting parts. because after you beat the Mechanist all the parts will be unlocked.

Don't waste your time collecting parts. because after you beat the Mechanist all the parts will be unlocked.

Which is both good and bad, I was still enjoying collecting new styles, but I can see how it'd be frustrating eventually.

actually i did try collecting prats, because i didn't know they will unlock later. and it broke my immersion because i keep stopping to loot every robot i kill lol

Well, at least with one way to resolve the quest line, you can generate radiant quests to track down bots (note: will sometimes be a large pack of bots, and they're leveled).

I'm kinda disappointed that we don't have to farm bots after the mechanist fight for new part's. Would have made bot hunting better.

The robots are now a permanent spawn like raiders, gunners, and synths.
