No robots spawn at beginning of automatron

I wanted to try out the DLC but I can't seem to advance the first quest.

When I started my game I got the radio message and a quest marker that told me to find the caravan, when I got to the marker it dissapeared and the questlog marked the caravan as found and set a new objective which was eliminating the hostile robots. No caravan nor robots ever appeared, no quest marker, no nothing. Tried reloading, sleeping 24h, fast traveling back and forth between Sanctuary and Watts but still nothing.

I did however have a random synth checkpoint battling a deathclaw nearby and some gunners just hanging around in the opposite direction, could they have prevented the DLC assets from spawning? After killing everything aroung Watts I still couldn't advance the DLC.

Anyone else with the same issue?

I've got the same problem, nothing spawning at the start of automatron. At first I thought it was due to the asstonne of mods I have installed, so I got rid of those to no avail. Gonna try messing around with the console to see if I can't work around it some how.

Tried reinstalling the DLC, no luck. Also tried loading a previous save before the DLC and then killing everything around Watts where the caravan is supposed to be, then fast travelling somewhere, sleeping 24h, listening to the radio broadcast and then going back to Watts, still no caravan, just the quest marker floating midair and dissappearing when approached and then getting the checkmark on find the caravan objective although I've never seen it or the robots.

I found the Caravan and the spawn but after I provided support the Quest did not advance.
I won't spoil what happened at the dance but I think mine is messed up also unless I missed something.

I found a solution for this problem. First go to your game library and unselect the Automatron dlc, then open the game and continue your last save, you'll recieve an error message click ok and continue. With this way you are deleting the dlc mission. Go to Diamond City and save the game. After that download the dlc again, when you open the game it'll start the dlc mission at the beginning. This solved my problem, I hope it'll help.

Yes thank you, this did it for me, now the caravan appeared and I was able to complete the first quest of the DLC.
