Robobrain glitching

I'm having a problem with the new Automatron expansion quest. During "A New Threat", when I kill the Quantum Robobrain and loot it, I get the quest item I need but the quest does not advance. It continues to tell me to search the robobrain, so I am completely unable to move forward now. Has anyone else run into this problem, and know the console command to force it to move forward (or devised any other work around)?

Courtesy of a fine fellow gamer by the name of Hiatt:

"Use Console and type in "SetStage 02000801 2400". That will skip that part that is bugged for you. It will take you to the part right after which is "Speak to Ada".

Please note that 02000801 might not be the same for you. It could be xx000801; with xx being 01 02 03 etc. Keep trying if that's the case.

Edit: Use this command after looting the objects off the Robobrain!"

While I don't own this on PC, I do on PS4. I can say that this bug has also been encountered.
Oddly enough, it was only for my wife. I never had to deal with the bug, and was able to progress normally. She, however, is stuck with grabbing the Mechanist part off the robobrain in General Atomics, but not having the quest update to then talk to Ada.
Nothing seems to be fixing it either, such as reloading earlier saves.
Rather DLC breaking, especially for console players.

Havent verified it works yet, but THANK YOU for the quest stage workarounds. I figured this might be required but I've never used the console commands for quest progression.

im on ps4 and i hve this problem as well and then other things started glitching out so i uninstaled it and then reinstaled it and it did an update then ii let it load all night. and it stayed at 6%.WTF? so then i closed it and tryed to open it up again. error. i cleaned the disk. unreckonized disk.so i restart the ps4 and then it says corrupt data. crap what do i do now. uninstall fallout but still corrupt data. so i restart the ps4 again and still corrupt data. anyone know how to deal with this i looked it up on google but the method i found involves deleting all m data and im at level 30! I DONT WANT TO WASTE ALL THAT!

Thanks for this - it's the second time I had to use a console command to advance in a quest - it's a shame they never fix these reported bugs...

I need to loot the first robobrain in the Commonwelth, but i can't. It's not lootable. Playing on PC, the console commands not work. What the hell I can do?
