Help me with Drinkin' Buddy, please! :C
I found Drinkin' Buddy in that one old bar and wanted to keep him, so was supposed to go to sactuary, after a while i was wondering why he wasn't there yet so i tagged the optional quest where bring him to his real owner or something. i followed the tag and found him stuck in the rocks right in front of Sanctuary. Does someone know a way to get him free, maybe a command to respawn NPCs? I would really appreciate it if someone would be so kind and help me with him :( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=649274271

Leave Sanctuary and spend a game day playing or sitting or sleeping somewhere else. When you fast travel to Sanctuary you should find him by your bar where he will always be found.

If you are on PC and know how to open the console (use the TILDE key (~)), go to somewhere in Sanctuary and follow the steps below

1. Open the console
2. Type "prid 0017429b" (without the quotation marks - this is Buddy's reference ID in the game), then press ENTER
3. Type "moveto player" (with a space after moveto) - press ENTER
Close the console. Buddy should move to where you are.

Let us know how you got on.

He can take a long time to make his trip. He also may get attacked on the way. It could be you need to wait, as JOW suggested. Or it could be that he got turned into Drinking Junk, as in a lootable corpse, somewhere along the path to Sanctuary.

It may have been better to send him to hangmans alley and then up north through a few different settlements, first, as the route is dangerous for a naive drunken robot.

^^The point the OP was making though is that he's stuck in the rocks - hence why I suggested doing the "moveto player" command.

make sure you make him essential as well, as he can die while traveling

The game characters will often get stuck somewhere when you follow them or wait for them to do what you expect them to do at your settlements. I built a large three level high concrete foundation around the top of a hill on Spectacle Island with a six level hotel on top. There was now way up to the beds except through a clever, so I thought, door at ground level through a tunnel of concrete blocks at the base. My settlers refused to use that door and it's internal stairs at bed time. They distributed themselves all around the wall nearest to the locations of their beds at bed time until about 2 am when they had all teleported up to their beds. Some of them did not even lay down. I found them standing up in the middle their beds with their eyes closed.

I had to build a second wooden stairway up and over the concrete blocks before they would do what I expected.
