LOOT won't detect Fallout 4, anyone experience this?

I've done a fresh install entirely and it detects Skyrim and New Vegas but not FO4 and I already tried Googling with no avail to a solution to my problem.

I'm having the same issue if I try to launch it from NMM. If I launch it from the Loot.exe it works. I'll check the version number when I get home

If I launch it stand alone it won't detect it either and it's the latest version(1.81 IIRC).

Had some trouble finding the solution myself. Had messed up the install slightly following an update. Just run fallout 4 from the desktop, no mods & not through mod manager. Once you've run it once, close it down - it should now recognise fallout 4 is installed on startup when running loot
