Power Armour/Armor Crafting Highlight.
My question is, when you go in to the power armour crafting station, how on earth do you remove the stupid highlight that overlays the whole piece?! I can't for the life of me find anything on google about it, or any mod to remove it. So basically to go from this (http://www.gamepur.com/files/images/2015/fallout-4-T-45-Power-Armor-location.jpg) to this (https://cdn.tentonhammer.com/sites/default/files/styles/large/public/power-armor-moding.jpg?itok=hD87nGOH)

Any help would be uber appreciated, so thank you in advance. -Hyhpons

It's meant to be there so you know which part is being modified.
@Scarecrow , I get that. But was wondering if there was a mod or something to remove it. Have a mod to paint power armours and would like too see what exactly is being changed.

I would also like to know how to do this. Sometimes my game will glitch and it will just be the outline. Also some youtubers i watch somehow only have outline in every vid

Yeah, it would be nice if it was just an outline so you can tell what you're physically doing to the piece..
I found a way by accident not long ago. As a bit of a style thing, I added a light above my Power Armour station in Sanctuary (one of the flatter ceiling ones, can't remember the name, looks a bit like an inverted, flat-bottomed bowl) and when I used the station after installing it, the highlight became an outline.

Works during the day too. Although I have found that I do sometimes have to re-place the light to get the effect again (like it resets back to a full highlight whenever it has to re-load Sanctuary and picking up and placing the light - even into the exact same spot it just was, not moving it at all - gives me the outline again).

So strange lol. You would think they would want you to see what you're changing as you're doing it.. maybe that's too much common sense. XD

It'd be nice if it was just an outline. The red scanlines are annoying.

Check my last post - found a way to make it an outline by accident.

Red scanlines? Are you sure you're not talking about the targeting HUD? There's mods for that :O

Honestly, the piece being modified should just have a yellow outline, not a complete retex while your cursor is over it.

No, I'm talking about the outline and shader that covers parts when you've got them selected in the modding benches - its red because my HUD is red.

Makes sense, I don't have scanlines, its just solid white over mine. Makes it impossible to see color changes.

Did the light trick I mentioned above work for you? Would be nice to get confirmation that it can work for anyone and not just me.

No it didn't sadly. But I have experienced the outlined highlighting before. I think it was in an earlier patch though, and I don't know of any other variables that made it possible however.
