Gonna see if there's a way to CC specific Network Sacbner holotape, but if you don't hear again from me regarding this assume it didn't work.
YOU ARE LISTENING TO RADIO FREEDOM
NOTHING NEW TO REPORT, STAY SAFE OUT THERE!
There are potentially people in both. The organizations are not neccessarily mutually exclusive, just dedicated to slightly different objectives.
To a degree but the railroad is also made up from the people of the commonwealth. A person could foreseeably be in both even if the rest of the organization has differing opinions. The minutemen are simply a militia and not a 'closed' military organization like the BoS, they could be a minuteman to protect their home/family as well as being an agent of the railroad.
As for the generals dilemma that possible (even likely in my view) outcome but I think it's important to recognize the difference between actively helping synths (railroad), reacting to threats in the commonwealth (minutemen) and pro-actively seeking to destroy threats (BoS). The minutemen don't seem to pro-actively hunt down synths otherwise they would simply be a lower tech version of the brotherhood.
Some minuteman may share the BoS attitude and some might have railroad sympathies, it depends on the person/community.
That being said, the two factions most certainly can coexist, the Railroad just has to stay secret and underground. Even my main character, whose entire everything is based around being the Minuteman General, is a member of the Railroad.
I agree pretty much entirely, my point was that the organizations are not diametrically opposed as say the Railroad/BoS. The somewhat open nature of the minutemen would allow for a diversity of views even if the majority view is that synths are 'lesser/dangerous/whatever'. You can see some very strange bedfellows in militia and partisan groups.
Thank you :)
