It's A Great Halloween Game
Since the nuclear war in-game happened in the middle of October, there's still a lot of Halloween themed items and decorations scattered throughout the game world. Combined with the apocalyptic and grim atmosphere, mutants, and monsters, I think the game is especially fun around this time. Far Harbor probably being the spookiest place of all. I'll be starting my long-awaited new playthrough very soon.

Anyone else ever notice this, or feel the urge to play Fallout around this time? I've thought of a few other games that might be appropriate, like: Skyrim, Diablo 3, Dying Light 1, Left 4 Dead 2, Doom, Bloodborne and Grim Dawn. But Fallout 4 is still my favorite of all.

If anyone does actually read this, are there any games you like playing for Halloween, or that you think might be good for the theme of the holiday? :cozybrawlhalla7:

No actually, it's a great game, an got plenty of h's in it, I don't really see any games as "when".

I do it with music, during the "Last days of may" I played "Last days of may" by Blue Oyster Cult

I noticed, and I agree. When this game released I was living in a very windy area that had legit bats flying around from a nearby mt cave. I know the feeling.

There's recently been released this hella awesome mod pack called "GRIM - The Curse"
It'll turn up the Spook Factor all the way up to 21, and revamps the game to be almost unrecognizable. Might as well give it a go? :D
You can find it on Nexus Mods

I just realized on a recent run, that some of the Raiders are actually dressed in one of the Halloween costumes that had been widely available in Boston.

I haven't really done much in the way of halloweening up the game, but I know there are a good few spooky and scary mods out there!

For my current month however I've got Subnautica yet to finish and I'll likely do the Below Zero because jesus christ those games are the perfect fusion of super-chill and absolutely terrifying.

They certainly captured an interesting blend of crab/squid/spider aesthetics there.

It's a FURBY with crab legs man, and like my comments imply I don't have a problem with undersea things. But furbies *freaking terrify me* and that is 100% furby nightmare fuel.
