Pretty sure you can tweak loot detector to not highlight corpses or anything for that matter. Also, loot detector automatically marks legendary and/or unique items such as magazines, bobble heads or legendary equipment with a quest marker, which you can also turn off.
And you can even set it to automatically pick up things like ammo, though you'll have open up your pip boy, in order for the game to actually add that stuff into your inventory.

For anyone curious, i suggest unticking all options other than corpse vision and legendary tracker. The rest are a little ♥♥♥♥. Autolooting is also pretty convenient but takes the fun away, i have managed to get around this with one of my characters as i have built it into his lore
