Looking for a mod..
So in Fallout 76 they added the brilliant "Loot nearby corpses" feature which revolutionised picking up lots of items from massive fights quickly.

I cleared out Quincy town yesterday in Fallout 4 and killed around 35 people and 4-5 legendary enemies. It took me roughly 20 minutes to find all the corpses and i nearly missed out on a cool legendary weapon as it was on top of a roof that was very hidden where someone had fallen off.

Why can't i have the Fallout 76 feature in this game? I can't see any mods on Nexus that do this, all just weird loot companion mods which i don't want.

Yeah but i am playing with mods that increase legendary spawn rates, increase their health and damage dealt and i am playing with the realism insane headshot mod. So i can die very quickly at any time and standing still for 20 seconds to rummage through someones pockets is not my idea of immersive lol

Loot detector highlights corpses, this is both awful in terms of visual effect and not what i asked for?

Pretty sure you can tweak loot detector to not highlight corpses or anything for that matter. Also, loot detector automatically marks legendary and/or unique items such as magazines, bobble heads or legendary equipment with a quest marker, which you can also turn off.

And you can even set it to automatically pick up things like ammo, though you'll have open up your pip boy, in order for the game to actually add that stuff into your inventory.

Hope this post helps. If not, sorry for wasting your time.

It just looks ridiculous that everything is highlighted different colours, if they can be deactivated then that might work for me, i guess only way to know is try and see. I just wanted something more basic tho, and the Fallout 76 system is perfection
So this wasn't the ideal solution and still somethings don't work perfectly but it's a tiny bit better than before. I can at least see corpses that are hidden behind bushes or debris.

For anyone curious, i suggest unticking all options other than corpse vision and legendary tracker. The rest are a little ♥♥♥♥. Autolooting is also pretty convenient but takes the fun away, i have managed to get around this with one of my characters as i have built it into his lore

Sounds rough. Try the "beat the game button"
