(problem fixed) Mod problems with capital wasteland workshop mod missing in settlement menu

So the capital wasteland workshop mod or cww mod i'll say unfortunately is missing in my settlement menu but however on new game saves it isn't missing but why? & is there anyway i could fix this without going back a save or starting a new game or what? do i do?

This is a known issue, the bug reports page has it and it has never been even looked at by the maker as far as I can tell.

If this is the mod you're talking about, it's broken. The "new game" bug on the bug report page goes back 2 years fully and not once commented on or fixed by the creator.

I would *strongly* recommend against using this mod. Unresponsive mod maker, repeated bugs that are game breaking, why would you bother with this mess?

The pieces apparently don't snap together either, so I would just uninstall and delete it, entirerly, and start a new game without it clogging up your files.

The mod was uploaded and three days later revised, but that was THREE FULL YEARS ago. This is NOT a good sign.

sigh... i'll be honest it's because i wanted to build my own tenpenny tower even tho it's been done before & there's many problems with it but i wanted some of the classic fallout design in some of my builds but this is ridiculous there should be a fix or something maybe someone will or maybe there'll be another one made by someone else but i'm sorry i just really wanted to do a few classic like builds but i really don't want to go back a save there's been a build well actually a house interior i've been working on alot & since i can't use place everywhere mod most it is very hard to do & it's already been a week & half decorating the place & it's still not fully done but it's almost & once it is it's or possibly going to be a video series on youtube which i wanted to do for a very long time now but i'm sorry this was a very long reply & if anyone does know how to fix this mod please let me know & gn or good day everyone

There are literally hundreds of more supported and functional building mods.

No one knows how to fix it because the mod makers *don't want people working on it*. Check for its name on the site there, and see if someone did put patches in. But the mod makers themselves don't seem remarkably willing to care. Don't reward that behavior... You don't have to have a broken mod. Just find one with textures and build materials that work. There are lots. you already have a couple if I am remembering your mod list correctly...

your right but i've decided to do a new save or go back a save & do some testing to see what might be wrong i really didn't want to do that but a friend of my is right i can keep the save i have & just a better build however tho from this whole experience i might actually make a mod using the items from the cww mod but that's just an idea & it would be a small home mod that's it & thank you so much for your help & gn or good day to you

good news i finally got it to show up i just had to uninstall & reinstall it i'm so happy i finally got it to work & i'm so sorry about all these post & thank you so much & gn or good day everyone

Oh do post it when it's ready. I build a lot (about 4/5 of my time playing this game is just settlements) so it's cool to see what you'll do!
