Convince Bobby to go clean (Failed speech checks)

So, somehow I managed to fail all the speech checks with Bobbeh with high charisma and apparently now I need to talk to Rachael so she can give him Addictol, but I can only get myself cured by talking to her. Wtf do I do now?

If you failed to convince him, he won't use it anyway, right? So that's a failed quest?

Check in the console what stage your quest is at. (unless you're in survival)

Save your game manually.

open the console and type in

getstage v81_03

This is the chart for the quest, so obviously you're somewhere either at 250 or 300 (failed to convince, or at rachel). You might be able to force it to go to 300 if it's less, with

setstage v81_03 300

but obviously be careful about what you do with this because it might also just keep breaking down the line.

his sister Tina is a level 4 trader, you can recruit her for your settlements.. but there is a strange bug that causes her not to leave vault 81.. even after you convinced her to join you.

Because of her brother ;)

Yesterday I managed to advance the quest so that I could convince him to go see the Vault 81 doctor anyway and finish the quest. But the thing is that when I talk to Tina, she only said she was happy to see Bobby off the chems but I couldn't recruit her. Strange, as I had no such issues on my first run 2 years ago.

Idk, I left the vault some time ago to build the Vault 88 and I'll see if the game has fixed itself by that time.
