Overclocking an i7-9700k for Fallout 4?

Is it worth it? I have a pretty great performance all around, but I'm encountering this incredibly annoying audio glitch which has been driving me insane for like three years already. Any major advantages in FO4 after overclocking the 9700k?

The rest of my rig is RTX 3060Ti,, 16GB of RAM, an SSD disk, ASUS Prime Z390-P motherboard, Windows 10 64bit

@Wasteland was your Asus Board maybe an Asrock one? because my Mainboard ignores overclocking just find thnx to Bios options that disable them, and yes i have a K CPU as well....

My MB is an Asus Prime Z390-A very similar to OP's so I replied to the thread. I don't know Asrock I doubt it doesn't allow overclocking anyway. Post your model please.
If the overclock is not stable it is reset on restart, could also be a badly plugged ram bank.
Try overclocking by disabling the XMP profile, this excludes ram, if oc succeeds then it's ram.
