Bethesda did announce a "next gen" update is coming for the game in order to get a release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.. on PC the update will be free.

They have not specified anything about what this update will include other than some new content.

You can buy now, but I would wait to see what the upgrade is about before start playing it.

What does 23 have to do with anything? The game doesn't need refrigeration. There is no expiration date. It will still be a good game in 43.

The mod stuff is crazy. It’s a much bigger game than it was when originally released. america rising and I understand also the fenn sheriff’s department are both gigantic. There’s also fallout London that is going to be released. It’s now a much bigger game than Bethesda could ever have made. The vanilla game is still the same, Though it’s pretty good to start with. The mods are what make it astounding though. It’s arguable that with mods fallout4 is STILL one of the best games for PC currently available. It’s much bigger than basically anything else. And it’s going to get still bigger. It’s bigger than say horizon forbidden west. The only game in its leauge that I know of is possibly star citizen, though that’s a very different game and it’s got very different aims. These are the sorts of games people buy large amounts of storage for. You’ll want to look at nexus mods. The mod thing in the game doesn’t have some of the best stuff. Fallout 4 mods are one of THE reasons to play on pc instead of console. So much so that Bethesda is doing another update in the future (for this game!) so console players can have some of the cool mod stuff too.
This is a game every PC gamer should have even if they don’t play it, just so they can say “this is why I have a PC and not a console”

I still find the game fun, and I have 700+ ours in just the steam version, I have more ours in my PS4 Version of the game. But I cant guarantee youll find it fun, since you may prefer different types of games, but i recommend it

It's a decent game. You will need to install a bunch of mods of your choice to really make this game shine.

It's a terrible Fallout game, really only good for modding the ♥♥♥♥ out of.
If you're also looking for an RPG, then go to the previous games, even 3 has RPG elements in it, albeit somewhat limited.

I played Fallout 3 in and out, I find Fallout 4 to be the better game.. Especially the excellent DLC for it. Far Harbor is the best DLC Bethesda ever made in my book.

FO4 has an amazing attention to detail everywhere you look
