Generic NPCs will respawn, but named ones don't.
Best solution: Reload a previous saved game.
If you've killed your shopkeeper you NEED to go back to a prior save, because lol. you can't revive him if you've killed a vital npc like that.
It's not a super big deal if he stays dead. I don't think he has any quests attached, and Cricket is an NPC that wanders the area in front of Diamond City frequently, and often stops at the front gates or in front of the cave to Vault 81. She's not too hard to find.
There's also always Trudy, though it's a bit of a walk to the Northwest of Diamond City, although you'll have to go that way eventually to check on Sanctuary and what not. If you didn't side with her during the argument with the drug dealer, I think her prices suck though.

but you`re allright, still not recommendet to do crazy in DC and reenact broken mask.
