Creation Club Virtual Workshop
I've been looking at videos, wikis and other places I could find info. So far am I correct that the VR Workshops in the CC mod serve absolutely no benefit to the standard "real" game other than some of the enemies you can kill in battle mode can generate experience? Is there any other effect on the standard game that the VR workshop will create that would be an incentive to invest 1000 credits into it's purchase?

It looks mostly like a "Creative Mode" to me where you can build with much larger limits but as with creative mode in many other games it doesn't interface directly with the "normal" game mode.

So if I'm interested in adding more options to the regular game, is there any plus for me purchasing the CC VR Workshop mod?

i was going to buy it when it was on sale, but i decided not to. i don't think it adds anything or any decorations to the base game. its just a few places completely separate from the main game you can build on. kind of like a practice mode for building.

I guess that's supposed to be a sandy beach with a groovy tiki bar to drink cocktails and surfboards.
Hang ten, dude!

The virtual workshops are good for one thing and that's transferring of items.

You can build your main weapon and armour storage area in one then all you have to do is build a pod at each settlement and you can access items at any settlement you are near.
You can also use the virtual world as a crafting hub if you don't have Local Leader to build crafting workbenches everywhere, as long as you bring your own materials into the virtual world.

You can do some cheesy low-level exploitation of the first-time container spawning to produce materials (just like in the regular game world), or loot bodies if you manage to access them before they disappear. Nothing major though.

And you can keep power armour frames there without a risk of theft, if you have a companion bring them in (since you can't access the VR pod in power armour).
