2. What was the name of the player home mod? so we can narrow this down.
It is not Bethesda's responsibility to fix problems which happen when you use mods.
If a mod breaks the game, then it is you or the mod's author who has to fix the problem.
If you have revision 3 (the current offered CC version, 4110959-3.manifest in the Creations subfolder is your way to tell for sure), move or delete the downloaded mod. Filed a ticket on their support site, so who knows how fast that'll get resolved.
"I did some of the steps with deleting Neon Flats files and then trying to redownload them from the game's CC menu - still crash/shut down. And verifying game files did not download neon flats - it downloaded .ba files for handmade shotgun, horse PA, and Prey stuff. i think there is a heap more issues than just files on our user side."
