Any cool enemy overhauls?
Alternate Start allows me to start at the DC gate or Natick (and other places including 111). I play as a wanderer arriving from the west so I start at level 25 but only gain half XP.
Also some mods by SKK from skkmods dot com. There is a lot there.
SKK Scavver and SKK Feral Nights I always use. Main reason is that you can hang out at RR's which tend to be in areas that you don't see much of. Something a bit different. Feral nights is nothing special buts adds to the fun. Also the Scavengers mod that adds scavengers everywhere and makes minor location changes. Carry an auto weapon to deal with ferals.
I don't do the Concord start stuff until very late. So I'm not a MM until late. I stick to the south of the river down to JP. Using a mobile workshop mod I like in a ruined building in Back Bay and renovate that using Snappy Housekit and other mods.
I don't use turrets to defend settlements, just recruit extra settlers and arm them. Focus on building secure sites. And responding to attacks. Also I don't use small scrap to ,make stuff unless that's plausible. Buy shipments or use rubble instead. So no building concrete walls that appear instantly etc.
A Forest, Grasslands, Natural Landscapes, Interesting NPC's, South Of The Sea (the updated version), a No Quest Autostart mods, various VTAW mods, One of the mods adds an armour addon like ballsitic weave but not as good and which doesn't require a perk to add.
Haven't tried this but worth a look, the nexus page includes some other suggested mods-
No main quest - Wasteland Operator
Subway Runner - a load of fun.
The Deadly Commonwealth Expansion (Enemy Faction Overhaul) (All factions are touched)

Raider Overhaul WIP (Raiders look better and clothing not just brown with different overalls)

Mutant Menagerie - Life Finds A Way (Basically better hunting)

More Enemies (Lets you spawn a couple or hundreds at every spawn point. Mow down allot or balanced amounts of enemies.)

True storms https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4472
With goul hordes enabled in the control menu, but the amount of ghouls adapted to your abilitys, maybe just one at the beginning
Survival options https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14650
Because there is no real need to eat it as served. The english version without MCM was buggy for, the german version works fine. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27528 Maybe the english version works with MCM fine too (did not test it but a comment said that)

Portable Bunker https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44606
If you finally decide that you need a movable base. In the Vanilla version the Bunker is small but enough. And you can surely decide to NOT move the bunker, then it is just a free placeable bunker base
Thats, ecept for my own not released mod all i use in context of survival. (nearly the whole rest is about settlement building)
