But nearly every cut content has, by now, been restored via modders.
There are a couple of Children of the Atom's mods on Nexus that beef them up and/or give them locations I was not familar with prior.
I did not download them because the CoA are not my thing, but there is a lot out there.
When I run into one again, I will link it for you here.
The Russian modders are pretty hardcore with Fallout.
I remember the Fallout 2 engine Fallout Nevada free downalod from Russian fans and it was great.
Something in East European culture has affinity to the Fallout universe since so many of the best modders are slavs ( disclosure I am not a slav, but credit where credit is due)
Was Vault 117 supposed to be the Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas one that was reminiscent of Bioshock?
Nope that is just a bioshock inspired mod.
Haven't stumbled across v117 in the CK yet, however there is a ton of other cut content still packed in the game files. 10 in game magazines for example, 3 La Coiffe, 1 RobCo Fun, 6 Taboo Tattoo.
The Lost Vault - Vault 117, is by Spiffyskytrooper who took it down as he's working on a redux
turns out Vault 120 cells are hiding in Fallout 76 files.
