there are at least 3 sperate patchs for that on nexus.
I run them all and dont have the issue anymore.
It is designed for ULTRA high end systems. If you don't have a stupidly massive amount of ram and a very-very high ram video card as well, it wouldn't be advisable to even bother looking into. For its very baseline 'improvement', you should be much more interested in the variety of specific nexus mods that do the same essential thing, and you have complete control over what you are looking at with them.
I'm currently running 450+ plugins with no issues.
what's your secret? : )
I constantly find myself make choices which mods to keep and which ones to disable to stay under 255 plug ins...
Thank you for the quick response :)
I did find some of my mods as ESL and this is what I now download preferentially,, but many of the best ones are .esp
Is there a conversion method that is userfriendly?

Vortex has a built-in feature to do that.
It's that feather icon.
Double click the plugin and look for the "Mark as light" option.
OMG that's incredible!
I learned more from you just today than in the previous 1000 hrs of game play!.
Right on!
PS: I just used some of my points to give u a steam superstar award :)
it doesn't break mods, it's a texture overhaul, so at best it'll cause a texture mismatch or something might go purple, but otherwise no. Nothing will break.
The biggest question should be "why do you want to use it?" because it's total garbage..
There's better mods on places like the Nexus, which are generally better optimised (the DLC is awful) and many use actual high resolutions rather than just stretched as in the DLC...
Honestly, it's not worth using it....
If you've got a decent PC, the Nexus (and other sites) have better options which will look and run better, and on a Lower level PC it's still Nexus etc.. for all the optimisation's that make things run a little better.
I have it on my load list right now.
but its loaded by engine since I got it as a DLC on steam.
Unlike other mods there seems no opton on Vortext to remove it now...
Thoughts?
If i remember correctly (and someone should correct me if im wrong) it requires an uninstall and reinstall of the game to work.
However it can be "annoying" and continually download it anyway, so some people have to go a little further;
They have to do it the long winded way of having the DLC removed from the account completely.
If it's working fine for you at current, then i wouldn't mess around with it given you've got Vortex and other mods all set up; but for those reading this and looking at trying it? Just don't.
yes everything is working fine for me right now. :)
The High Rez DLC pack aint worth the 50gb of space it takes. The difference is BARELY even noticeable. You are talking about something designed in like 2016 for 2016 cards which cards were rapidly changing for far better performance.
If you are good with installing mods there is FAR better mods out there for better textures that take up far less space.
