What's up with the Railroad - quests stopped?

So I've done everything asked, the last one was putting all those surveillance things out for Tinker Tom and since that nothing, I've gone away and come back and spoken to the main characters but nothings initiating. I was enjoying the quests as it was leading me to some new places and some good battles here and there along the way. I'm a bit fed up with defending settlements, maybe time to check out the BOS or institute.

You need to follow the main quest line and find your way into the Institute to continue with the Railroad ( probably, just guessing )

I also know that sometimes a mod can cause this .

No mods. Just seemed a bit odd that they stop but the Minutemen one's just keep coming. Looks like you could be right about the main quest line as I found something after googling a similar question. Thanks.

For the RR, you need to progress Institute questline quite a bit. I just finished my RR game and was thinking I'd messed something since I wasn't getting any quests from them, but the one I had said 'keep working with the father' and eventually all worked out nicely =)
