Must have for script hungry mods imho.
I am not seeing any known mods with huge script loads in that list. So that means one of two things:
- One of the mods has a bloated script and is creating too many scripts.
- The OP is running the game at like 200 FPS rather than the 60 FPS which is causing scripting to back up due to not enough time to process scripts each frame.
- The OP removed some mods mid game and not they are running away spamming scripts.
The FPS is an easy fix with your INI files.
The finding a culprit for run away scripts you need Falrim Tools and Resaver. This will allow you to view currently running scripts to see if there is any excess. You can also use it to end scripts as well. Although messing with the scripts is one of those "risky know what you are doing things."
The other option is to go check the comments section on the mod pages (something you should always do before trying) to see if any of them have posts form other users with a similar issue.
If not, then go back through your saves (hopefully your not reliant on autosaves, as that's probably helped, if not caused, this issue) and see if you can work out when it begins to happen.
This might help to point out where and what is causing the issue.
oh yes forgot to mention, it also lagging the chat, when i talk with preston, it has very long delay to update the mission, i can't do anything while i'am talking with garvey other than pausing the game
Yes, you have some serious script lag.
There is a method to clear it (temporarily) but it sucks because if your game is generating too much script lag you have to do this very often. Used to happen a lot when I used Sim Settlement Conqueror.
Go to an interior cell (something small without other stuff) like the root cellar in Sanctuary, Home Plate, etc. then just let the game run for like ten minutes without doing anything. Basically this gives the game time to process any backlogged scripts allowing it to catch up. However if you got something broken and generating too much it aint going to have a great effect.
