Dry Rock Gulch Glitch game crash Extreme
It took me 20 computer restarts until I was to complete High Noon at the Gulch quest. I had to set the Quest stage to bump myself past killing the Bloodworm Queen and not touch the cappy symbol inside the mine however I could grab the Coin and open the chained door and still leave to save my game. The glitch can also trigger a full computer crash if you attack the bloated brahmin too quickly. :( I wish the Devs would fix this

Never seen this.. i throw grenades at the brahmin so it kills the worms too...

Something is really very wrong with your game if it's triggering a full computer crash.

I probably should be playing on windowed mode but I prefer using full screen but when the game gets a loading crash sometimes I can't alt tab and go to task manager to manually shut down the game so I have to either restart computer or log out to close the program.

There is a mod to fix that.
No BloodWorm MoleRats Scorpions Teleport-BugFix
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/51563

Open your task manager, then click properties, then always on top.

The mod didn't fix the crash but also made me invisible to the bloodworms =/

Make sure your task manager is set to "always on top" as Bored Peon said, but im still not sure why your game is crashing so much there.

I don't know about windowed mode, i play in fullscreen..

Are you using any (other) mods? Or purely vanilla? I assume your using mods, so the best thing would be to look through them and see what is affecting that area in XEdit.
Either that or try a brand new save.

You jumped initially to consoling your way past it? How often have you done that? You shouldn't need to do that at all, as if you miss a trigger you'll cause more issues later.

I have never seen this myself, and it's not vanilla behaviour, so it's certainly your mods, or your save is broken.

There is a rare bug with molerats and bloodworms that their burrowing creates a tdetect issue. I mean rare as in it may not happen to someone every new game even if they had the issue in the past. This either causes the following:
- Crash when they come up from burrowing
- They do not detect the player so they will not actually attack.
- Creates an issue that causes an infinite load screen exiting the area with these mobs.

I had it with molerats before. Except I used this mod:
No More Teleporting Creatures
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12997
I am not 100% sure if that will fix your bloodworm issue. I think it may. I figured to suggest the other mod first. You should remove it if it did not fix your issue.

Also this one to try:

Bloodworms Radscorpions Molerats_Stay Topside

I didn't know I could set task manager to always on top this will save me from having to restart/ log out of my computer to close the game :D

Yeah it is a HUGE tip, especially when you are dealing with testing mods and early access games. Which is why whenever I see anyone struggling with it I make sure to let them know.

That whole area of Nuka World is very bug ridden and not just the burrowing nasties and radiated creatures. If you ever make the mistake of "I'm all the way across the map but don't want to click fast travel to reach this other place in the park" DO NOT tcl even mid-air over that area. holy crap it's a nightmare.

That is what COC commands are for :P

I don't memorize those :D I think I've used that command maybe once ever. It was very strange though because it just *neglected to load* the area, because it pauses things like that I guess, and then when I landed and came back it was SO broken. like it'd forgotten HOW to load.

NOBODY should play any game in windowed mode, not advisable.
As for crashes, tried disabling OPENGL in drivers ? It's bad for fast GPUs that push framerates higher than monitor vertical refresh frequency. Enhanced Sync/Fast Sync in drivers would fix that but I bet you're stuck with V-Sync On in game settings.

if ultras the problem then bring it down for that area. i play on ultra also but 9 times out of 10 issues i have in this game is mod related. my unique issue was a mod that let you delete everything from settlements. id go into an area and the walls would be like the qasmoke area. people blamed my gpu being damaged to all sorts of things but ultimately going 1 by 1 probably over 200 times i found what it was. GL op.
