"Sped up" gameplay
I have recently downloaded Fallout and ever since I started my first gameplay I have noticed that I walk fast like as if my gameplay was "sped up", another example was when I first time I tried to lock pick and pressed A or D the pin spun so quick that I immediately brake it.
I have my settings on ultra, does it matter on the "speed" of the game?
thank you

Cap your frame rate to 60, and use the console command "sgtm 1"

haven't see any options in the settings (pre-load even) for capping the fps, also cant find where the option to activate the console is

cap the frame rate via your gpu software.

cap the frame rate and hz of your monitor using your video card suite.

The 'sgtm' command, "set global time multiplier" 1 would mean that the time rate in-game is ticking 'normal' (.5 is slow, 1.5 would be fast, etc) though I've never seen this command needed when you properly cap your fps.

The console in game can be reached ONLY if you're not in survival mode, or using a mod to allow it in survival.

Type the `/~ tilde key on a normal qwerty keyboard, if you're using a non-standard keyboard or another language input it may be a different key.

Before using the console even if your game is running weird make a manual save before doing anything in the console.
