(Bug) Buffout/Psycho considered a quest item. Cannot use or sell.
Anyone know why this might be happening? The only mod I used was the Unoffical Patch for Fallout 4.

Did you ever hand Mama Murphy her fix? I don't know whether that would interrupt your normal ability to sell or use it yourself but if that is one of her requests that is ACTIVE at the time, maybe that's why?

When you say "only mod you used" - do you mean "use" as in it's actively on, or "used" past tense and you've removed the patch/mod? This will make a ton of difference if you've removed a major renovation mod like that mid-game.

It's the only mod that I am CURRENTLY using. I know never to remove it unless I want to screw my save file. And I will try the Mama Murphy thing.

Looks like giving mama murphy drugs had no effect. Looks like I might have to call it a loss and start a new save. I don't use chems often, but they are nice in a pinch. Not being able to eat/drop or sell them kind of ruins things.

I think basically if we talk Mama Murphy and get a quest to bring here a chem that chem becomes a quest item till we finish the quest not sure if this is vanilia behavior or something added by the unofficial Patch.

I stopped using that one long ago because they made a lot of changes that were not bug related like sticking the synth component that by lore only exists in a gen 3 in all the synths along with some other changes that are not bug fixes and sometimes interfere with some mods.

Yeah, I might remove the patch and start a new save. It's a shame though. Thankfully I only put in a day or two of work into the save. I can easily start again.

Yeah if it's early enough and you're *already* getting weird game-breaking bugs that is not a good sign :/

That's what I thought as well. Thankfully I've beaten the game multiple times and was just doing another run for fun. No biggie, no harm done. Time to watch my wife die again.

Agreed, same concept as to why I've stopped using the unofficial patches for most Bethesda games and have reverted to using individual bug fixes.
