It changes how you can do the quests, both early and late game. Take a look at it on Nexus and see what you think. Just remember to read -everything-

either of these mods permit access to The Institute without being forced to join it seems.

Put me in the relay room. Failed a quest which was OK. Father started talking and went to meet Shawn.
Couldn't of asked for more.

the minutemen are the Yes Man route.
That's one of the mods that goes along with Depravity ^
Well it lets you do everything (with the whole group of mods)
Certainly better than siding with the Railroad!
I tried Depravity but it (shockingly) forces you to take a rather evil path that I as a player have difficulty with. Valkyrie has a laundry list of ways to deal with all the different factions, though, including replacing Adolph Maxson. If you play your cards properly you can finish the game without destroying ANY of the factions. That's my preferred way of playing.
EDIT: Valkyrie requires Outcasts and Remnants and (or is a requirement of Remnants) Fusion City Rising. Depravity is not a requirement (fortunately as it conflicts a bit with both my morality and Sim Settlements) of any of them but is a companion to them.
EDIT2: There's also Diary of a Madman where you basically go full psycho and blow up *everybody.*
Outcasts is the one with all the actual assets, which makes all the subsequent mods like Valkyrie, Diary (which is part of Depravity. Diary is just the quick route through) and Fusion city smaller (atleast, that's what the MA says)
I like the choice. Choice is good, whether you want "Good" or "Evil" characters
Doesn't matter the game, or how many times I try, I just can't do evil characters. That's why I'm glad for ways around it either through mods or quests in game like Open Season for Nuka.
SS gets kidnapped and is going to be sold as a slave, and SS has to fight his way out. Once free and SS recovers weapons, armor and stuff, SS confronts the captors and agrees to be their little beach.
But you are the yes man in FO4. So just keep on smiling and do what you're told. Not that any of the other routes are too different from Minutemen...
It's the right timing and place for it.
