Best mod setup for extreme winter?
I want a playthrough in harsh climates, with a gas mask and big winter clothes. I just tried polluted climates - winter and Winter overhaul, but it isn't really doing the job. Looks like the average snowy day in the midwest. Couple inches and perfectly sunny sky. I want blizzard, but this isn't anything like I've seen in the youtube videos.

vivid weathers has some nice snowflakes. But the only snow option they have is "fallout snow". So it is basically a radstorm of snow anytime you want snow. Many will not like that.

Like, does it actually have rads? Or is it like a blizzard that sort of looks like a white radstorm? I would love that.
Would that take the place of polluted climate, and I still use winter overhaul? I guess at this point I can keep doing my own research, thanks man

I wouldn't recommend piling more than one weather based mod into a game. They're already pretty wobbly, compounding that with the potential of multiple mods trying to fight for any given location or effect is not a great idea.

It doses you with rads but it looks like a beautiful blizzard.
Vivid weathrs in snow mode does not put snow on the ground which is why your environment mod for awinert landscape might be a good combination.

I must confess though I look for the opposite.
Less environmental rads not more :)

That's tough, but I kind of like it.

I'd rather it not be a radstorm, but I guess it adds to the feeling of a post-apocalyptic nuclear winter. That may be where I go.
So many people suggested polluted climates, but I can't even tell it's in the game.

One affects the ground, the other affects the sky and what falls from it. It has worked for me so far.
