how long i need to wait until i got vertibird signal grenade as minutemen (survival)

i already destroy all other faction and waiting until preston give me the signal grenade how long do i have to wait? do i need to leave the castle for couple of day (preston in the castle)

Vertibird belongs to BoS, wrong faction. Do quests for BoS, when they trust you, they give you the flare.

Every faction can use vertibirds except the Institute,


@OP: You gain access to Vertibirds after finishing the main quest-line. If you have already destroyed the Institute then you should have access to them. If Preston didn't give you any check Ronnie's shop, she should be selling them as well.

I remember a game with Minutemen when i have access to Vertibird but no one in Minutemen side sell grenades. Then i find a mod for craft a machine for do vertibird grenade signal. With Railroad you can ask to Tinker Tom.

i think i sleep 2-3 day on the castle and finally able to get the flare from preston, btw i notice that old lady didnt sell the flare but there a box in the armory that spawn minutemen grenade

Yes for MM and RR it is only available after the end of the game and signal grenades are rare.
