dlc weapons without going there ?

just came back to the game was wondering can you get dlc weapons from nuka world dlc and others without going there ? because i dont want to do the dlcs early.
playing on survival if i remember right i travel with bird grenades is there any other form of fast travel ?

I think the DLC weapons can show up in random Legendary drops, but not from regular gear or chest loot.

edit: of course, you wouldn't be able to use any of those legendary drops, because the ammo for them only comes from the DLC areas.

The only exception would be for Nuka World, if you are the raider boss. Then you get a set of shops for raiders, and as far as I know those include the Nuka World DLC stuff. Of course, that does require you to go to Nuka World first, and advance the questline to the point where you raid the Commonwealth. Just means you wouldn't necessarily need to keep going back is all.

Only if you use mods that add those items to the Commonwealth. as TheSuit said. Besides legendary gear, the only DLC items you can find in the Commonwealth come from those raider settlement shops. Bethesda never integrated those items into the other Commonwealth loot lists. There is only one legendary item loot list, which is why you can find those legendary items anywhere you go.

I never raided my settlements, ever, on my 3rd run will eliminate the Nuka Gangs again.
Done it as BoS and Institute so far, it's a hard fight, but not impossible.

Also, you cannot manufacture STG-47 "handmade rifle" ammo. Just get a better rifle.

You don't have to raid your settlements to do Nuka World stuff. That's only near the end of the questline. You can go to Nuka World, do all the sidequests, explore & clear the park. . . and then turn on the raiders and kill them all. That's what I always do.

You can buy handmade rifle ammo from the vendors in Nuka World.
I don't know if the "ammo factory" machines from the one settlement DLC will produce DLC ammo.


There's also weapons in Far Harbor, whose ammo you can only buy there.
