But that's not true, because like I explained I did have the map marker appear the first time I tried it.
As far as I know it's only the Vertibird exploit that they've patched out.
If it's not that, you could also try exiting to the main menu before reloading, in case there were some changes retained after reloading (which is often an issue if autosaves or quicksaves are involved, but never hurts to try anyway).
Even Bethesda's patches and bug fixes are buggy. They don't always work properly. So it could have been patched and still happen to you.
And when you think of all the actual bugs they never bothered to patch out.
