The only way I know to get to the top of the game's Trinity Tower is to do the Institute Quest to get the beryllium agitator and teleport up there. Maybe there's a BOS quest.
Unless the Assaultron and Sentry Bot kills SS, SS always jump of 35 Court in power armor
pretty sure if you jumped out from Low Earth Orbit, you'd burn up on re-entry. If that wasn't so, then the Forged wouldn't be able to roast SS alive in power armor.

Was the buildings taller in the prequels?people jumped off Bos airship?
I can't remember since it's been a while, but you can't actually fly in or jump from any of the vertibirds in New Vegas I think.
I figured 76 has something, but definitely so far it's boston for BASE jumping :D
Well, paraphrasing the "THE SCIENCE! behind Power Armor in Fallout 4" Video...
YOU'D BE TURNED TO F*CKING PASTE!
Even the game's lore has someone wiping out the suit trying a "clean jump with standard T-60", but then they suggest someone successfully walked away after a drop from the Prydwen, and that doesn't look like something you'd survive either.
