infinite black screen/white crash screen at startup

does anyone else have this problem?

even after spending the past few days going through all of my mods and updating all the ones that had an update, i still can't get the game to start

you may need to verify the game files if its caused by a corupted game file however the first step would be to ensure the audio driver is installed and not corrupt.

you may have to reinstall the audio driver for the pc.

this link is to an old thread where someone had issues with BSXAudio2GameSound and the fix they used. "copying the 32bit xaudio2_7.dll to the 64bit folder"

found the file, but there was already an xaudio2_7.dll so i made a copy of the original and then overwrote the file
