[SOLVED] Far Harbor CTD approaching Acadia

I've tried all sorts of things, but every time I get a certain distance away from Acadia, my game CTD. I can't even get close enough to discover the area, so I can't test fast travel there.

I've tried:
- approaching the area with and without Old Longfellow
- with and without any other companions
- with and without mods installed (completely uninstalled all mods and launched from Steam, no F4SE)
- approaching from the opposite side of Acadia
- waiting over 20 in-game days for the cells in Far Harbor to reset
- verifying files through Steam
- lowering settings to the lowest

With my mods installed, I have Buffout4 mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47359), but it doesn't produce any logs on CTD to help with analysis.

I don't know what else I can try so have made this thread in the hopes someone can help me. Since it seems to happen whether or not I have mods installed, I have not posted my mods list.

I have finished the game's main story and most sides, as well as completed Nuka World DLC, all without issues. Any help would be appreciated.

As a side note, I have played this DLC in it's entirety previously, so this CTD is a first for me.

SOLUTION: Uninstalling then re-installing the game has fixed the issue for me.

Are you wearing power armor with a helmet? Sometimes for no apparent reason that causes issues in a variety of different ways.

Are you continually attempting to reload the same obviously-broken save? Go back to a prior manual save and see if that helps.

Not wearing Power Armor. And I tried reloading an older save but was getting the same issue. I went and played the whole Nuka World DLC with that save too, so I was sceptical it was a broken save, but I'm not ruling that out ofc. Thanks for your help.

I'm going to try uninstalling and re-installing the game, it's the one thing I haven't tried...

dude, that will literally not help. Noclipping into a place when your game crashes to desktop will likely guarantee a very broken save indeed.

Well, uninstalling/re-installing the game fixed the problem!
