Just Curious if Anyone Else Sees this in DC.
For reference, it's 4 of the 5 items from cleaning the water quest, now floating in the sky. lol
skull - bucket - typewriter - and I can't remember the fourth but it too was one of the items in the water to be cleaned.

Just curious as to if it's a Bethesda bug or an issue with my particular graphics card. Seen it multiple times. I usually shoot them down and scrap them... again. lol

Sorry, I didn't have the screenshot set to Public. It should be fixed now, but I'm a moron and don't know what I'm doing so it may not. I set it to public though. Maybe I should repost it?

I'm talking about Fallout 4, in Diamond City. The 4 items floating in the air above the lights of Fenway Park... err Diamond City are 4 of the 5 items one is quested with cleaning out of the water supply.

EDIT - It shows up for me when I click on it, but that may be because it's my screenshot, I dunno. It's the first time I've tried to post a screenshot in about 5 years or so, and it seems it's changed.

nope, it's a glitch in regard to the Pool Cleaning quest in Fallout 4.

In all honesty OP, it might just be a Bethesda bug.

Strange how they can end up floating up there even after I cleaned them out of the water and turned them into their base components... steel, gears, bone, circuitry, etc. What, did they reorganize in my workshop and float up there? lol

Seriously though it's not a big deal, I was just curious if others experience it or if it's my particular setup or graphics card causing the glitch. I searched the wiki but couldn't find anything about it, but I suck at searches so that might not mean it's not listed there somewhere. Under the Pool Cleaning entry for bugs it wasn't listed.

lol yeah that's a pretty typical thing for bethesda stuff, spawning in mid-air because someone forgot that the ground level changed or something. I don't think I've seen it but then I have hardly ever done that little sidequest nor looked up while doing so. Maybe next time I should. Been planning my next game...

To be clear, this occurs well after the quest is completed. IIRC, in this play through I looked up when I entered DC the first time didn't see it. Then several in-game days after finishing the water cleaning quest when I returned from some other quest or another I looked up again and there they were. I've seen this in multiple play throughs but they've all been on this laptop so it could be my graphics card.

They might have respawned but something in the code tells it not to actually BE there.

I mean, WHO KNOWS lol this is Bethesda!
