It doesn't appear to be true ray tracing just an illumination reshade that makes sunny areas brighter and shadows darker. My old "3D glasses" monitor can do the same thing with its "scenery mode".

Regarding real RT, gpu sales are at their lowest level for many years. There is little interest in RT as most gamers view it as an unnecessary added cost.

I got my 3070 back in october 2022 for $538 on Amazon, a $100 cheaper then EVGA's site has it listed for

Ray Tracing is a more expensive way to do stuff ALREADY BEING DONE BY THE ENGINE.

It isn't anything new. It wasn't a big thing when it came out in the 90s. It certainly isn't a big thing now.

I wouldn't use ray tracing set to ultra. I use it on med to high.
If you have issues set rt to low.
If you need more help just ask.
