Mod organizar 2 crashes the Game on startup
No matter if i choose to launch the Game with F4SE or the original exe, the Game Open for 2 second and then crashes, i tried with turning off all My mods but that doesn't work, i reinstalled MO2 and F4SE but that doesn't work too, i can't play with mods because of that error.

I suggest you give Vortex a try from www.nexusmods.com. Been using it for years. Along the way I've tried other Mod organizer programs. So far Vortex is the best.

When there are thousands of players using MO2 without a problem but you can't, it probably means that you didn't set something up correctly or completely. Or you are trying to do something that MO2 doesn't support. Try watching a setup video or use Vortex as suggested.

MO2 bests Vortex by about 1000% with Bethesda stuff; if you're going to listen to random people on a forum then listen to me - stick with MO2.

But something is clearly wrong, if you're getting immediate CTDs make sure you have F4SE and Buffout4 installed, then go look at your logs, under your save game directory in a folder named F4SE, there will be one for each F4SE app... there will be a clue as to what's causing it.

It's not unusual for someone who uses mods to have this happen, so you need to be a teeny bit technical and persistent. But once you get it working? Waste the ~50Gigs it takes to make another snapshot backup of your entire Fallout 4/MO2 setup, in fact I keep a specific MO2 install *inside* the Fallout 4 director in the steam library, simply for that fact, so when, you back it up, you back it ALL up, even the cached downloads of mods. I mean it's almost 2023 who cares about a few "wasted" hundred gigs when your data HDD is 12 or 16TB? It's nothing and prevents having to troubleshoot when you don't feel like it, just copy that backup over your main SSD install in steamapps\common\Fallout 4 and back in business!

I waste terabytes on backups, but of my ~12 installs of Fallout 4? None of them are currently crashing. Just saying.

Wait you never even get to the menu, the auto-playing videos, is it *literally* 2 seconds after you start? You're missing something very important. Did you install F4SE manually as you were supposed to? Can you launch it via f4se_loader.exe?

When i Open the Game with the MO2 the only thing that shows me its a black screen, and yes si literally like 2-4 seconds and then the Game crashes, i run the Game vía fase_loader.exe and the Game Opens with the same black screen and the same crash.

Mod Organizer 2 doesn't really do anything to the game, it just installs & organizes mods. I don't see how *it* could be crashing the game. As opposed to one of the other things you've done.

I found the solution, i just needed to delete a file named "dxgi.dll", i see that F4SE is not very compatible with reshade.

No it's not, there are specific shades for this game available though. Good that you figured it out though! Someone else might have this issue.

Like me. I'm having this problem too, and I don't have the file OP pointed out.

im having this issue too launching F4SE through the files it works but not on MO2. Even when i use fallout launcher it crashes but i can launch through F4SE _loader without crashing instantly and through steam also. weird it was working for a week and now it does not.

I recommend using software to check your Files are perfectly installed and/or deleted! Like "WinDirStat":t_r:

I often had so-called deleted mods that remained in the cache (not visible) which caused conflicts with my new game mod configurations!:JessicaEmoticon:

Just launch the game USING F4SE.

You don't need to launch using vortex or mo2. Just make a shortcut to the correct file on your desktop and make sure you're already running Steam before starting the game.

If you're not able to launch the game from MO2 with F4SE enabled, something got botched with your MO2 install. maybe an ini setting went awry in the virtual file system.

^^ MO2 is the one that does seem to have the most issues with this based purely on complaints about it here.
