Female character animation errors with Workshop DLC
I wanted to ask if i am the only one with this problem since the new DLC launched. My female charaters acts like a male one when idle.
Im not talking about the standard just-standing-around animation, but for example when the SS looks around in third person. Instead of the female idle flavour animations the game seems to play the male ones, with my girl breaking out of her usual feminine stance into a masculine prize boxer pose, and the reverse after the little flavour animation had played out.

I first blamed mods for it, but even after disabling all of them, and checking in the Fallout 4 meshes folder if some animation files snuck in, my Sole Survivor lady still acted like a male.

I only could solve the issue after unsubscribing from the Worshop DLC entirely, and now my character acts like normal again.

Is this only a freak error on my part, or does someone have similar experiences?

So here's an update :

The folder that is causing this issue is actually the one in Meshes > AnimTextData > DynamicIdleData.

It is a folder with 2000 text files and there's like 200 text files with the same content in them for every DLC animation.

This issue is simply not fixable until the F4CK comes out or Bethesda releases a hotfix. If you want (and would be nice), you can make a reply to this Bug Report here :

https://community.bethesda.net/message/42165#42165

so that Bethesda takes note of it and hopefully releases a hotfix or the Creation Kit.

Until then, the only solution is to uninstall the DLC or suffer through these animation issues.

Oh, sad, anyway thanks for information, lets hope they will fix it soon and of course i will write report too, Best Regards!

And, in less that 24 hours someone on the nexus has posted a fix. have not had a chance to try it myself, but people there say it works.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11944/?

I hope Bethesda releases an official fix, if only for the console players who won't be able to access this for months, even after the CK is released.

Ah awesome!

Here's hoping that it works 100%. Even if it does not, it won't cause serious issues to the game, snce they're just ini files.

If Beth doesn't fix it, then the community will. True fact.

i got both dlc no mods and everything is fine. i think its worth mentioning that im not in the beta i roled back since i dont use survival mod anymore so could be it? the beta is bugged? or one of your mods.

Why are some people still relates this to mods or beta? Did you not read what OP and other people said? This issue even has to be fixed by mod for now, it's not caused by mods or suirvival beta, the porblem is there, the only difference is whether you can notice it or not.

Thats all fine and dandy, but Crimsomrider literally found the error in the DLC files. And disabling the DLC files fixes the problem, while enabling them again makes the female SS act all masculine again. How can mods be responsible for that?

Please make a test yourself. Load up a female Sole Survivor, go into third person, look at her from the front and watch for a minute or two.

It's fine. Some things, like this, are very hard to notice... but could also be that his game is working perfectly.

The issue is mostly for female animations and is most visible in the beginning of the game (interacting with objects) and in conversations.

Same thing was with Witcher 3 Horse Animation microstutter. The stutter was there and many were able to see it, but many were not. The devs did fix it in the end.

As someone who plays a new playthrough every time a patch comes out, I kind of know what my character should be doing and what she shouldn't. So having her thrust her chest everytime she interacts with an object or speaks in a conversation was clearly a DLC error.

I did however notice the same thing with the male character.

Update everyone : Todays hotfix patch (despite not even mentioning anything) did something with the Wasteland Workshop files and thus fixed the animations in the process.

If you were using http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11944/? to fix the issue, you can now delete that mod.
