Quick, (hopefully) easy question. Crashing.
Is there a dump file, an error log, anything that I can use to troubleshoot Fallout 4 with? The game crashes probably every 30-60 minutes, and has done so since I got it at launch. =/

I've tried all the random stuff without really know what's happening to no avail. I'm pretty tech saavy, so if I could find a dump file, error log, whatever, I can probably resolve it.

Thanks in advance!

Justin

Im sure if you search in the start menu and type in msconfig then look for the event viewer tab you will get some information but i dont think wont tell a whole lot about what the real issue is! Would be better for you to post your cpu gpu and ram specs and someone on hear might be able to help
bLaCkShAd0w Apr 11, 2016 @ 12:45pm
Drivers not digitally signed could be the problem. Windows 10 isnt forgiving when it comes to that. Try updating your GPU drivers.

What drivers are you using for the r9 390? The 16.7 drivers seem to break fallout i have went back to the 15.30.1 drivers and never had an issue since and i know this has helped other people on hear as well

Tried that a few weeks ago.. Couldn't find anything. I'm guessing it's strictly a program error, otherwise windows would be recording the crash.

Try rolling back to stable (not beta) drivers. I have also heard lots of people with issues with the newest drivers.

Sooo... There is no Fallout 4 error log? Memory dump? lol

I know WoW used to have one, and a bunch of other games buttt... I can't remember. But regardless, that doesnt help me now LOL
fastboyslim Apr 11, 2016 @ 12:59pm
As blackshadow said there seams to be issues with the latest deivers my guessing is that is where the issue lies. Search AMD on this forum and there is a whole thread on it
Strife2211 Apr 11, 2016 @ 11:49pm
Thanks everyone. I was hoping for an error log instead of more poking around, but I'll DDU back to the stable build once I get Win 10 14316 installed.
