What about the regular hammers?
I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around this thing. In a post-apocalyptic world like Fallout, you should be able you use anything you can get your hands on as a weapon. Why, then, does nobody ever try to use a hammer, a regular hammer not a sledgehammer or a super-sledge even, as such a weapon? or not even to help in crafting things?

Are you to tell me that a wooden board ripped off a piece of furniture is a more viable option than a tool that was created for the sole purpose of hitting things?

Do the game developers have a hatred for hammers? These things are all over the wasteland and people still choose to use pipes and rolling pins over something that was used in medieval times as an anti-armor weapon? Is it because radiation is altering their intelligence or something?

My gripe is with shotguns! ever game and not just fallout but division and prity much ever games with shotguns makes them way to weak! even at close range its like your shooting them with a nerf gun.
if someone shot you point blank with a sawnoff or any other shotgun it would rip away half your body.
but in most games it does the damage of a wet fart sort it out game devs.:devilskiss:

+1 for this.

I've hit raiders at point blank range with a shotgun in the face and only knocked them down 25% of their hit points. Seems to me that limb damage only really impacts the player and not the mobs.
