Yeah but when you specifically ask where she is from, she is evasive and says to pay close attention to the songs. Later (and this was months ago) I found out on the wiki that she is a synth, suddenly the underground thing makes sense, and falling apart, she's practically singing about being a synth in secret.
Then I wondered if the rest of her songs had meaning to the player or the canon ending. notice that she seems to mention pretty much every faction in the song train train.
Train train > Railroad
Can't go forward > Brotherhood destroying institute prevents this
Can't go back > The minute men fell apart with their effort and they are trying again but depending history will likely repeat itself.
Unless they establish a real order (which may require help from like the brotherhood) She also mentions in her song about "training to be a person at war." The protagonist as a male, is a soldier at war returning while the wife is a lawyer, and all the scenes bethesda uses including the New DLC features the male so I think its safe to say he is for sure the one who is intended to survive. No offense or pokes to those who enjoy playing women I'm just pointing out things I found.
