f4SE Cannot Find Fallout4.exe
Sigh. I've tried sticking the loader and the dll in various places, inlcuding the data folder, the main fallout4 directory and even the root directory.

I know it's the right version, because the beta is for the beta, and I'm using the rolledback/non-beta version. I did try both.

I'll get this crap down one day. PS, I've never had a problem with SKSE.

Tried running it as administrator?

Awesome! Must have forgot about that; had SKSE set to that automagically too long, I guess.

Now to see if that radio mod works.

edit - whoops, now the game can't find automatron. Redownloading.

Update - still no dice. F4SE works, but I see "No content found" in the add-ons - even though it's there when I go through the launcher. Hmm! Could be related to the radio not working without f4SE?

If F4SE can't find fallout4.exe then make sure you have a fallout4.exe

THAT's what your problem is.

f4se_Loader.exe needs to go in your fallout4 folder right along side fallout4launcher.exe and fallout4.exe

If you've put f4se_loader.exe there and it can't find fallout4.exe then you're missing FALLOUT4.EXE

Hello

I suspect that your system folder options are 'hiding' .exe and .dll. review folder options and show all file types. Google will help with that.

I have Fallout 4.exe in the same place as the F4Se.Loader, but it still says it can't find Fallout 4.exe. What do I do?

Delete all the old DLL files that start with the words "f4se", then reinstall the whole thing

just solved this for myself,

my problem was that I moved the f4se launcher onto my desk top and took it out of the fallout 4 directory.

try putting your loader back into the fallout 4 directory if you took it out.

This is why they tell you to make a shortcut, and not move the exe...
