EDIT : As for the gray knit cap, it could be that you're using the "Gray knit cap /w hair" version from the Armorsmith or you're using some hair mod that did not make the meshes for HATS.
Well ♥♥♥♥ I don't know if I can uninstall that mod because I think others rely on it, I tried and got an insta ctd, this is gonna be a snowball effect, guess I have to deal with showlooksmenu...
Well if clipping really bothers you that much, you can use a FO4Edit to give some other item rad resistance, if you're using Hazmat just for rad-heavy areas.
I edited the ESP myself and gave the Gas Mask and Hooded Cleanroom Suit 1000 RAD Resistance. They don't have clipping and takes like 2 seconds.
Atleast the Hooded Cleanroom Suit should by itself be a lot better than Hazmat since it is developed by the Institute... but logic, eh ? :D
However thanks for the tip, I'll think about it, guess I'll have to learn how to use FO4Edit.
But the gasmask isn't immersive enough, because in a heavily radiated area like the glowing sea a gasmask wouldn't be of any help: "hey my whole body is getting soaked in deadly amounts of radiation, but at least the air I am breathing is clean" ;)
Yeah I know, but it looks cool with certain outfits :D

Hooded Cleanroom Suit on the other hand is a lot better alternative ^^
