Automatron Spoiler: Jezebel discussion
Anyone else feel she is wasted potential? She could make a good companion, just act annoyed with everything. She can be sarcastic a lot like Raul from New Vegas. Seems like the other robot Ada was also kinda useless. After the dlc she is identical to any other robot you make with a standard female voice. Even the same lines.

She is Marcey Long V2.0 as far as im concerned.

I built her a bad ass assaultron body with dual miniguns, but she didnt like it and complained, so i said screw her and put her on a floating mr.handy body with no arms.... screw you b!ch!!!

Yea she is wasted robot, but I usually built her new body, then trash the body by disassmble it. Meme greatest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ among all vault dweller.

I think Bethesda could have done alot more with Jezebel. She is an imprtant character but all you get to learn about her is that she was taken by Rust Devils. Then she just stands there and complains.

I gave her a protection body without armor, and a mr. Handy thruster

And the whole "Robobrain ruined all" plot is just weird. If all Robobrains are bad, why I can still build them without any concern? Shouldn't Bethesda make Robobrain the "villain" of the DLC? What if after you talk down Mechanist you can have her as a companion and hunt down evil robobrains? Silver shroud and Mechanist, 2 super heroes work together to bring peace to Commonwealth, how cool is that?
Or if Bethesda really want to add "Robobrain" as a buildable parts, why not make a "master Robobrain", who is the real villain behind Robobrain chaos, you need to kill it to make Robobrains behave normal and become a buildable part. and you will kill it with Mechanist's help?

Ok I am going too far...it's just a small DLC...

There's one difference in that you can't use her as a companion; any robot you build, can be.

Still, she can be used for farming, scavenging, running supply lines, helping you move cargo from place to place by equipping her and then relocating her... if you're in the mood to go arm settlers with a dozen heavily-modified rifles and weaved fatigues, a robot can carry 'em without the risk of using anything 'em itself.

I'm not entirely sure, but the robobrains are human brains that were from criminals or the mentally insane. This explains their murderous behavior. The reason you can have them as companions is because they are either intimidated (they value their own lives too much (a human instinct) or the Sole Survivor wipes thier memories so they just become a sort of "advanced computer processor"
Shahadem Apr 4, 2016 @ 2:34pm
Well just because the brains in the robobrains belong to homicidal maniacs doesn't mean they don't appreciate some company every now and then. The sole survivor isn't exactly Batman either. Both the SS and Jezebel have the same mehtod of solving problems, murder. Should be a match made in heaven, especially if you give Jezebel a hot synth body like you did for Curie.

I think the plot would have been much better if you found out that Jezebel was actually behind everything, and when you come back to talk to Jezebel after defeating the Mechanist you find her gone and a large number of robots descending on the Settlement.

Reasonable point, but there is no explanation about why Mechanist's robobrains are evil but yours are not...all we can do is guess

Definitely wasted potential. I love a well done comedy psychopath and the RoboBrains excel at that in the most humorous of ways - cold logic with a nasty streak.

Having her just wander whatever settlement she's dumped in? Waste of a potentially interesting NPC character, of which there are very few in FO4.

Jezebel is a pile of scrab outside Diamond City for me.

Ada, I feel is the most disappointment. Why go through the hassle of creating a "unique" robot follower just for her to be identical to Voice:Female, Personality:On?
i gave her a spartan helm and a protectron storage torso, so she looks derpy af.

I think you got kinda confused somewhere. One difference in who exactly? Jezebel is mainly what this is about but I also pointed out that Ada also kinda sucks because she is identical to any robot you build with a female voice. After you do the main quest she doesn't even have unique dialouge anymore. Just shares it with Default female voice.
Sentient_Toaster Apr 4, 2016 @ 6:26pm
Jezebel. Unlike Ada, or any bot that you build, Jezebel cannot be used as a companion regardless of when you're in the Automatron plot or whether you're finished.

I want to put them into two guns and dual wield Ada and Jez and I want witty banter and cat fighting as we murder our way across the wastes.
