Future for Ron Pearlman as the Newscaster? (Spoilers)
Lets be honest here, Perlman is a huge name in the fallout series, so it came to a surprise when he had such a small role in FO4. Now considering that we saw him in his station once the bomb went off, I thought I would go and pay my respects. When I went to the Gunners plaza, I noticed that his skeleton was not there. That got me thinking... What if he was goulified? I was lead to beleive this further once I finished the game, when I got the lack luster ending with the naration my the sole survivor.

My thoughts are that we are going to have a broken-steel type ending like FO3, like others beleive. This DLC would include the newscaster, and its fair to say that he would play a large role in the ending. I would alos enjoy it if we got a more classic ending showing what happened to everyone, but that may be pushing it considering that this is bethesda we are working with here

they WERE going to have a "Wasteland TV station" in the game, but it was part of the cut content
so maybe Mr Pearlman was doing that?

True, Ron Perlman is a core staple of the series so it seems a bit out of place that he isn't narrating the beginning or the ending...

A DLC that covers the major storyline plot holes and expands upon the ending in a nuetral way (So all faction endings work into it) would be most welcome after Far Harbour. I'd guess Ron would make a proper narrator appearance there...

They should NEVER have had the intro so that Ron wasn't narrating it
absolute *CORE* part of Fallout IMHO

His voice is fantastic, one reason I hate Hollywood nowadays is all the smooth plastic usless actors with lousy voices, ugh!!
Older times they used radio and stage actors, or sought out great characters, so they had gorgeous voices and could act
Lee marvin, Humphrey Bogart, Vincent Price, Burt Lancaster etc, they wouldn't fit in hollywood now
Hollywood is more like frikkin "Borg City", or "Pod People City", with all features perfect but bland etc :(

Wasn't that what the Gunners Plaza is? There is a TV set in there after all.

I think having Ron Pearlman voice an anchorman, and actually announce the fallout as it was happening, was absolutely brilliant.

I'll admit I was initially very disappointed with the outro because Ron wasn't narrating, and the static cutscene; but on subsequent viewings I appreciated it a lot more. Still, would love to see more of Pearlman in Fallout 4, even if it's just in the form of audio logs.

Probably there was a quest concept that someone wants you to take over Gunner Plaza so he/she can set up TV station in Commonwealth

Just bring him back as a narrator. Newscaster is cool ...but it just 1 scene.

"Oh my god" - Newscaster. Yes I know it's omg that you just have 1 scene

yeah that woudl make sense, kind of like the VAULT TEC REP you meet who's a ghoul, if the TV TV announcer was still alive, be great way to have "Wasteland TV"
Wish they had done that, sigh

He narrates, he's not an in-game character. I'm sure he'll narrate or do voice work for the next spin-off.

That would also explain why there are TVs in the game that you can set up, but no actual channels. Lets hope for DLC people! Don't let us down bethesda!!!
